Hello, two question's.

#1. Does anyone know of any figurines of Napoleon on St. Helena. In particular, gardening ?

#2. Would anyone be interested in such a Figure and if so, What scale ?

Hi there

Found these might be of some use , as for a figure certainly not the image of Napoleon I immediately thought of ...aporently it was on doctors orders .

Hello and thank you, Nap.

Those are the image's that 'perked' my interest.

My partner's from the Island and they have build an airport there. {Not that it's useable because of the 'winds'!}

I manufacture Figure's in 1/32 scale for (Scalextric) Scenic Slot Track's and have been toying with the thought of
producing a couple of figure's for the 'expected' rush of tourist's to the Island ( ! ) that would be 'unique & different'.

I think the above two would probably fall into that category.

I was searching for image's of him in civilian dress on the island when I came across those two picture's.

I know nothing of the market for Napoleon Figure's and realised here would be a good place to ask and was a little
surprised to find an email about your post. But on reflection, I guess I shouldn't of been surprised ! Thank you again.

The next question (for me) would be, what material's to produce it in and in what scale.

Producing something for the Tourist market on a small Island won't be too much of an issue for me to deal with BUT
is it a subject that may be of interest to serious model maker's and painter's who frequent Forum's like this?

What would be the best scale to produce it in? Metal or Resin.

I like the image of him, leaning on his spade. It lends itself to having an interesting scenic base to compliment the figure.

Well, I'll see what the response's are.

Thank you again for such a prompt reply to my inquiry.

Michael.
