How? my acrylics run down over the oils. Sorry dont know the words.
Based acrylics and than oils works for me, but never the other way.
What did I wrong?

Hey Stephan,

I undercoat the flesh in Liquidtex deep portrait pink then do the oils over them. I do minimal highlighting and shadowing. I then cook the figure/bust in a crock pot until it dry. Then I use the acrylics over them. I had the problem before with the acrylics beading up on me but I use distilled water and have had no problem since then. Ihope this helps.

Wow!!! Great so far especially the flesh tones. I was wondering what is your primer paint for the overall base coat?
Acrylic? Tamiya? Lacquer?

I use Humbrol #1, I think, primer and just brush it on.
