Hi
I've still got a bit to do but he's nearly finished. I've been trying different technique's with oils on this bust ,some worked some didn't.
I've included several pics of him to show the difference between camera settings and lighting.Always been my nemisis as i can never get my figures to look their best with a camera. It also shows up the flaws that need sorted.
Brian

I thought it was the box art. I think that the third photo shows this beauty off to it's best.
Cracking job,
Carl.

Amazing work Brian. From metals to flesh everything looks great. I whould personally go for some more lights on the fur. Maybe it's the photos though. Nothing like a live view i guess.

Fantastic job Brian... what an expression....nothing a good dose of syrup of figs (remember that) won't fix.
Looking forward to seeing it at Folkestone.
Cheers
Derek

Wonderfull painting Brian,
what a lovely bust! I like mostly how you handled the pale face. The contrast between the pale face and the dark fur is just briliant. The eyes are so lifelike, I still can´t rid of the feeling he is alive:)
best regards,
R.L.

Terrific work mate, great eyes, skin and weathering, wanna see this piece up close as well.....
