Hi all,
I'm going to be starting a WWI project and I need some help finding figures that will work for the scene I have in mind. I need a late war German - older soldier with a peakless cap and a late war Brit (Welshman to be specific) in an overcoat (with helmet askew if possible). Both I assume are regular infantry types who have been fighting in the trenches and the scene will be in No Man's Land. The poses should be pretty static - just standing. They don't have to be a perfect match to the above. I know I'm going to have to do some converting and sculpting. I just need a good starting point to save me the work of sculpting the whole thing. This isn't an era I'm very familiar with, hence the cry for help...

Oh, and 54mm or even 1/35 would be the scale.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! (y)

Hi Wendy

Sounds an interesting project I would definately have a look at the Tommys War figures , excelkent quality and good poses , British and I think there are a couple of Germans you could use .

There is also Masterbox and ICM figures I believe

Hope this helps

Thanks Nap! Looking at the Tommy's War site, do they have all the Tommy's War figures in their shop? It seems there a lot of early war, but not late war stuff.

I plan to do a scene from Warhorse (the book; I haven't seen the movie). Someone familiar with the story can probably figure out what scene I have in mind. Is the movie generally accurate with regards to uniforms? I can catch parts of it on youtube.

Hi Wendy
