I should be able to finish of my current work but after that I will need some new fine brushes .
I know there have been various threads relating to who's best value or which holds the best point but I'm a lazy old sod ( you Know I'm a Old Age Pensioner now ;);) ) and can't do searches . How are you guys finding Rosemary Brushes and wasn't there a new range called Frog Brushes . How are they and where do I get them .

Hi Chippy, depends if you use oils or Acrylics? I think Rosemarys are OK for Acrylics but I haven't found them terribly good for Oils, they curl very quickly.

The new range are Broken Toad. Jon sells them and they seem great for Oils, not quite as good as series 7's but half the price.

Hi Chippy

we stock the Broken Toad Brushes; 3/0 & 0 are £5.00 each and the 1 & 2 are £5.50 each or a set of 4 for £20 post free.

I've used them for both oils and acrylics and they perfoerm very well and I am quite hard on my brushes. They took a bit of getting used to as tips are bulkier than the Series 7 I normally use but they do hold their points very well.

Claude I paint with both oils and acrylics but I try to keep the brushes separated for both tasks but ever now and then they seem to get used for both .
Kevin thanks for the details . I've now bookmarked both of them and will take a closer look nearer the time .
Hi Jon thanks for the information . As soon as I need some I'll come knocking on your door it's the fine pointers I need to replace so I guess that's the 3/0 and 0 in need . Just a thought I'd mention , I visited your web site and although you list Broken Toad brushes and paints I could actually bring up brushes to look at .
