You brought a tear to my eye, you big softy. Seriously though mate, you should be proud. Not many people has photos like that. I've got a signed photo of King Georges mother, Queen Mary. My great Uncle was once her bodyguard, and yes, I am proud too.

Have a letter (?) from Buckingham Palace signed by Queen Elizabeth inviting my father to the palace to receive an MBE from Her Majesty for bravery. Have a photo of Mum and Dad at the palace having photos taken. Like your's Jazz they are treasured and make me rather proud of my Dad.

Here is a treasured photo of my grandad, grandmother and mum at the palace on the occasion of his receiving his OBE in '55. He was a major player in fighting the fires in Coventry in '41 as he commanded a Stoke Fire Company. I still recall his rage when he learned through the release of the book "The Ultrasecret"" that the government had warning about the attack on the city.
