Yep it's a 'toughed' up version of Gérard Depardieu's Obelix. The wee bum on the end of the nose is the giveaway;)
Pretty good fun though and great paint job, historical accuracy aside.

I used sometimes this kind of verbal sedatives to wash the tongue of some jokers.:ROFLMAO: No offense intended.;)
 
This is nicely sculpted, with loads of skilfully-done detail. Although it's much easier to pull off at 1/9 it's still good to see a shield that's nearly scale thickness rather than the tabletops we see too frequently. Some of the anatomy bothers me (the neck in particular, couple of problems there) but overall I think it makes a good bust... accuracy aside.

I'd give my eye teeth to see the references used. Steel horns, really?

This is a brilliant example of something that's had to be said many far too many times before - about how little additional effort it would have taken to make a much better representation of the supposed subject.
