New bust from MDC - The Creature

Hi to one and all ,
If you like having fun and enjoy some unusual subjects then have a look at the latest from Model Design Construction(MDC) ..

Subject : The Creature

Scale : 1:10 approx

Material: Resin

Sculptor: Steve Peacock

As normal the model comes in a strong cardboard box (this time its silver !!) with the additional protection of lots of shredded paper (good recycling MDC)

The bust consists of a single casting which incorpprates a base and 2 small tentacles to fix under the chin and a fin to attach to the back, these are secured in a plastic bag to keep safe and avoid getting lost !!!!

The Creature

Looking now at the actual sculpting , this is one that Steve has obviously had fun with with the "skin" showing nice surface detail ..be interesting to see this painted all slime !!! , the facial details are well defined almost amphibian like with gills and lots of folds to bring out in painting .

The subject has a Dr Who monster feeling about it so perhaps that is where the inspiration came !!

Overall impression:
If Fantasy or even if you just want to have some painting fun then The Creature is for you , full of detail and well cast , lots of fun and a great addition to the cabinet
