Hatty Styles cannot ever join us here on Planet, he hasn't got the qualifications.

I understand his particular 'pre-pubescent jazz beat combo' was known as '1D'.

So...... proper models being '3 d' he and his chums are
1D short of even being a chum of Newsome the bold and
his flat creations QED.

Mmmmmm. I wonder how realistic it will be with the current trend towards big petroleum driven explosions, over the top action scenes where the hero is bullet and explosion proof, and completely fictionalised story lines that come out of Hollywood these days. Perhaps we might even have the US Navy or a US naval captain directing the rescue. I know I am being cynical, but I think I'll reserve my opinion.

Chris

I'm with you Chris,as if Hollywood has their hands on this, you can expect that historical facts will go out the window.

Whatever happened to the Dunkirk movie/tv program that I was told was being filmed at Redcar sands some years ago?

That, was the film 'Atonement'. around 2011! I know place well, my cherry got popped on these beaches, so I should remember them.:D

It was filmed at the 'South-Gare', (For the dunes), and probably 'Marske-by the-sea', two mile further on for the open beach.

Mark.

Check out the teaser trailer. I don't think we have much to worry about - it looks like it could be superb.

Cheers
Mat

Hmmm.....for a bunch of blokes who have had the crap kicked out of them....and are crowded on a pier....about to get shot and bombed to pieces....
they all look remarkably clean shaven....freshly kitted out...well fed...and with nice new helmets...fresh as daisies :whistle::LOL:

Was this early in the film or later on? ... Lots of questions/answers/thoughts yet to come.:cautious:
