Jon wanted me to post these photos of his latest in 1/15th scale.

The figure depicts a Stormtrooper taken from a group photo of 8 soldiers standing around an NCO/officer. The men are all armed with trench knifes and P08 Luger pistols (apart from one soldier who carries the Mauser C96). The left hand thumb of this soldier appears to be cleanly bandaged indicating an after combat photo.

The kit will come with an alternate head as shown. The kit will also contain his usual detailed, historical information about the soldier. For example, the German army never referred to the P08 pistol as the Luger.

No painted version of the stormtrooper to show yet, but I'm sure one is forthcoming.

Very nice, these were on his site. It's the 54mm version of the same figure.
Carl.

Obviously the sculpt is faithful to the source photo in most ways, which is why we love this manufacturer so much. Just a shame that the actual uniform makes the proportions look a bit unconventional. Otherwise a beautiful authentic WW1 subject to grace many a show.

Lovely figure from Jon Smith as usual!
I always loved his style of sculpting.

Hi Dan thanks for posting.
I am a big fan of Jon's work he seems to get the authentic look of the Great War. I will be looking out for this one even though I still have a number of his figures in my grey army.
Pete
