Wonderful, does anybody know if the mounted piece can be painted with different colours?
The problem with your question is how to answer it as Marc said.
Almost every napoleonic uniform can be painted as an alternative in different colours.
The tunic types, lapel shapes, shako variants and so on were set patterns for mass manufacture and so the uniforms where of a modular design. That coat in green, trimmed red piped silver makes this and so on.
I can think of other colour schemes aplenty.
But, when I do, I then think, mmm not without a lozenge shako plate, or well there's no eagles on the saddle cloth and so on.
So the only variant I would safely suggest is an officer of the Pontonniers by colour substitution.
This is the right hand figure in the in the illustration, but a soldier not an officer..
The tunic, breeches and saddleclothto match the picture, the lapels etc to be maron, or lie de vin and paint silver as in the kit illustration.
Note the plume bottom third matches the lapels but the holder would be silver.
I hope this is some help.
