Is there a typo in the web site address? Chrome says it can’t find it...
I think you're referring to the address in the signature. It shouldn't have the www. at the beginning. Perhaps CHRONOS could update his signature?

Chronos is rapidly becoming the leader in high quality napoleonic kits and for a good reason. This one's already on my list. The version with the purple overalls is stunning.

Oda.

P.S: The artwork of Victor Boltishev is PHENOMENAL!!!!!

Hi there

Again a good release from Chronos , good details as always and headwear options which is nice to have

Plenty of colourful painting options again

It's good that the modeller has resin and W/M to choose from

The Russian army in 1812 have a straight cylindrical shako like that of the French army. The shako, which has camber in the upper part, was only for the foot Guard. Army infantry and cavalry received it's shako only in 1813-14.

A few years ago, it was believed that shakos with a deflection appeared in the Russian army in 1812. Recent studies have shown that shakos with a deflection did not have time to enter the Russian army in 1812 and entered only in 1813-1814. Before that, the Russian army had French-style shakos.

Is it possible to get sabretache with A ? My favorite was Akhtyrsky Hussars

My last comment . Figure title is
Ober-officer of the hussar regiments, Russia 1812-14 . Will 1810-1812 be more accurate ?

Articles on the Russian Hussars. To read, use a translator.

I will look in a good book what was on the tashka (tablet) of the officers of the Akhtyrkiy regiment. It was either a "two-headed eagle" or "A1".

You are probably right about Shako shape but I'm reading that some officers had later type as privately custom made . To me nothing say more "Russian Hussar" than deflection shape Shako and lance

I don't know name of the show but as kid I watched Russian TV show with Akhtyrkiy regiment. That was like 40 years ago . I cant find anything about that show but maybe someone in Russia can have some info . I loved that show and that's why must be Akhtyrkiy :)
