Gordy was wondering why I am not receiving pop up alert for PM`s any more, I have it checked in my settings but for some reason it has just stopped working, any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you check this setting also?
In UserCP > Edit Options > (scroll to near the bottom)

that was quick mate !!!
I am using mozilla firefox and yes I have checked that box in edit setting but no joy.
it was working fine couple of weeks ago but just stopped, luckily I still get e-mail notification to let me know as I tend to forget to check the little profile box at the top of the page which lets me know of new notifications.

Thats one option I might have to investigate, not sure how but I will have a go as everything else is working fine on the site.
