Looks great. I was hoping that there would be a large scale version of the Andrea Figure one day.

I would check into the shoes a bit more though. The shoes you have him wearing look more like modern boots. Normans in the 11th and 12th centuries wore turn shoes that had no visible "heel" nor was the rand of the sole that pronounced. Clouting or re-souling with bits of leather sewn onto the existing souls (these were called clumps) in two pieces because of the necessity to sew them from the inside and facilitated the turning of the shoes and then turning them back out, and appear in extant examples from the 13th and 14th centuries but not to my knowledge before.

Archeological examples from sites in England dated from around 1100 typicaly are more pointed in the toe as well.

I like his expression. Very proud of his bird.

I'm no expert and it might be the angle of hte photos, but his right arm looks a little long. Rest of him looks great.

Kamil, I like this guy! Great expression on the face, the quilting on the clothes and the belts look fantastic! I am with Rob though, the right arm looks quite a bit too long in the photos. It should hit him mid thigh and it looks as if it goes all the way to his knee! I also get the feeling that his hands are too big. If I remember my proportions from figure drawing class correctly, the hand should only be as big as the face when open. He looks like he might be able to cover his entire head with those mits! I will say though, if you are going for a "mythical giant" kind of look he is probably OK in proportions. His oversized bits lend to a nice "friendly giant" kind of look! Keep us posted! Thanks for sharing,

I'm sure You have roight 'baut shoes. But..it is some kind of 'magnification' of andrea's figure- and i've made shose same like in a 54mm version- thats the reason of my mistake;>

i'm just finished falcon's plumage- photos tommorow:) Then You can see so his proud is well-founded;)

Rob:
Yes, it is lens reason of his 'deformation'.. hands looks good 'in real'. For ezample-maybe his loins are too wide just a little- but it is not visible on that photos. I've made that photos too close from a figure and camera was placed too high
