Nice one Carl, good to see it painted and a top job too it flatters my sculpting, nice tosh!

I have my eyes on this bust ever since it was released... it is great to see it painted and you definitely did it justice. Very nice and I like the work on the DPM . BTW, how do you like the other heads supplied? I'm particularly interested in the riot helmet and the transparent visor?

Cheers,
Mario

Carl, excellent figure. Welldone! (y)
Mario. I just bought the bust and I am waiting to receive it. I also wish to paint the riot version. The problem is with the DPM cammo . I read that exists some version of that camouflaje and they used to use the parachute camo version, because the riot figure is based on 79-80 years. May you or Carl help me in locate good pics of that camo version?
Carl, What camo did you used ?

AFAIK, the DPM pattern remained the same throughout its deployment. The uniform cut changed several times and some color differences often occured (some even because various manufacturers were contracted to produce DPM), but the basic camouflage pattern was practically unchanged for almost 40 years. Carl has given you a great link which should prove very useful.

You can now go to bed Carl, you must have been up since you recieved it, excellent work, full marks there :D

I have only managed to get the box open..

bTW for those interested..

The butt of the SLR had a cleaning kit in it, so there was a round panel with a square section on the top of it as a hinge, a bit like a inverted keyhole shape, which was on the shoulder rest part, also the gas plug had a horizontal slot in it to allow you to turn it, cracking gun isn't it.. Excellent weapon, far better than the current underpowered thing.

Very nice Carl, just getting better and better with every new piece ,know nothing about modern stuff but that looks spotters.

Cheers
Ron
