Hello Lee.........looking good so far. The only thing I can see that I would do is to add more dark shading to your blue tunic to make the folds stand out more. Flesh tones are great. Keep up the good work and post some more pics as you progress!

guy

Hey Lee. Welcome to the planet. Looks good so far. Guy is right regarding the shadows. The longer you do this the more aggressive you will become with regard to highlights and shadows. For 54mm figures contrast, is your friend. It looks like the eyes could be more defined as well. I use dark brown and sometimes black for the upper lash. If this is only your second figure, you're progressing just fine.

nice figure...

how are you!!!
This is Kyong-Jae Lee...

In this post, I think that more highlighing and more washing give a good effect yours.

i want to know your method to paint helmet and chainmail. ^^

have a nice day!!! (y)

Thank you to all..

It listened to the end of the Guy, more dark shading to blue tunic .
Is everybody sees to how?

Jung,

Excellent. Much better with the shadows as both John and Guy said, in small scale "contrast is your friend". That looks great. Did I read this correctly? Only your second figure??

Good work if it were your 100th! outstanding for your 2nd!

Thank you hardy, Lou and Guy...

I'm only during 8 years it made WWII aircraft models.
But, 4 years it did not make a period model in personal situation and again it was started a model again with the figure.
The figure became to try to make initially and start cold region 4 months.
It is known "Young.B Song" and "Kyong-Jae Lee"
It learns plentifully and figure joyfully.

Jung :)

With "Young.B Song" and "Kyong-Jae Lee" as your guides and looking over your shoulder, you will do well. Listen to what they tell you and you will join their ranks. I have seen both of their works and admire their skills as each a true artist.

Thank you Lawrence..

I used a Gunze Sangyo "Mr.Metal Primer"
This mixes in thinner the place where is uses, the material feeling of the metal figure listens to like that and it comes out and the place where it expresses the material feeling of the Ring mail it is good and use it is a technique which it tries.

Jung

1. Figure coated with Gunze Sangyo "Mr.Metal Primer"
2. Helmet Back - Helmet coated with Gunze's Clear & Steel & Oil color(Lamp black & Raw umber & Burnt sienna)
3. front
4. Side
5. Ring mail

Hey Guy..

Young.B Song says that the connection is difficult with LogIn problem.
It says that continuously the error occurs.
When the problem is solved, will be connected.
But, to connect with the Guest, the PlanetFigure always there is report.

Kyong-Jae Lee gave birth the baby in this time.
It is same the busy thing.

Jung

Jung,

I have to agree with the others, very nice work and it being only the second figure makes it even more impressive. Keep up the good work! (y)
