I’ve started the “super detailing” by painting the swagger stick and Regimental badges on the right arm and the ammunition pouch. Along way from finished. I haven’t even started on the oil paint yet.

Ref badge ...very nice ...you have it on red backing , the pic show darker ......or is that it prior to being cut round and fixing to a red backing ?

Nap, it’s a bit of educated guesswork. The badge itself is the Regimental crest, but the badge with the blue background seems more likely to be worn with the ceremonial blue uniform than with the khaki. I’m waiting on some info from the Lancers museum to confirm this theory

If I may the arm badge coat of arms ...is this still WIP as in the close pics background looks like a red/ Kharki hue ?

The clean painting has really done the sculpt credit and us a great uniform colour contrast
