Sunny in Hampshire too, and your progress looks as good here as it does there, which is pretty cool.

Cheers Simon

Lovely work on those ribbons

Appreciate the comments Simon and Melanie....I’m happy with the result so far ....onto those epaulettes and hopefully the collar piping !

Wow, some seriously impressive work on those ribbons and epaulettes. What brush do you use for those fine lines Kev?

Hi folks

Bit of a verbal update ....epaulettes all done ....

Had a bit of a issue ...somehow managed to cut the collar badly with a craft knife ......don’t ask!!....

...so resculpting the collar ...just the piping to put on ..might use a suitable lead wire or a very thin line of putty ...

Stay tuned

Not gonna ask mate these things happen, at least it wasn't your finger, don't wantbto get blood on everything! The rolled putty is a good option as it's easier to blend in with the remaining piping but depending on the length you need is not always easy to keep the thickness consistent. Wire is easier for that but still.needs putty to blend in to the old piping. Good luck.

Hi everyone

After nearly throwing this across the room after the collar disaster .....far too many attempts at replacing the collar , the piping eventually was added using very carefully rolled magisculpt ...and with much “ naughty words “ as Carole would say ...lol

This is the final result , a tiny bit of tightening up to do painting wise ...you’ll notice no white collar showing.....this was too prominent when I added before , so hopefully I can add a edging after painting the flesh

Next will be the eyes, hair and a slightly get satin on the peak ...once happy a clean palette and will do the medals and buttons

Off to confirm eye and hair colour

UPDATE - I have added the collar using very very thin wire ...just showing enough ....happy now

going for a brown hair similar to this and a light blue gray eyes....happy to be corrected !

Awesome work, the first pictures look like he's seen a very bad plastic surgeon. Good fix on the shirt though, little things can make a big difference, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Cheers Simon
