Cheers Phil, I still have two weeks left at sea working but I'm hoping to have some acrylic basecoats on before I go home and set to work properly.

Managed to put some acrylics on today, it doesn't look much but believe me it's a major achievement given the weather conditions here at the moment.

Very good Roger.Next time you are at sea remember that greekheroes produces 3 of the most famous naval commanders of the Greek war of independence and since it's obvious that the sea has no effect on you and your painting it would be fitting to paint naval heroes while at sea.

Thanks very much Paul. I wouldn't have got this far if it wasn't for my aircraft modelling pal a few doors for'rd who kept me supplied with the paints I'd neglected to bring.
