Cheers Huw, glad you didn't look too closely. The test will be seeing it under proper lighting conditions when I get home but at least it's just the acrylic base and easily rectified.

Update time, we are steaming back to Aberdeen to crew change tomorrow morning.
All going well, assuming nothing has been planned for me, work will recommence on Sunday. Can't wait!

Thanks very much Oda. I need to do a good job on Ασήμω given it's importance to this figure.

If anyone is wondering who or what Ασήμω (Asimo) is it's Androutsos' sword. Now on display in the Benaki Museum, Athens.

Blimey Roger that is a hell of a wow factor.
I took a look on the enlarged picture button and just got a blank screen, I though. I scanned across and it came up at approx 1:2 scale. It still look excellent.
Although I really like the whole piece the difficult olive skin tones are first class.
I can tell that that you enjoyed painting life into this beautiful figure.

Thank you very much indeed Keith. The quality of these figures make them a joy to paint.
The blue jacket is proving a bit problematic to shade. I need the oil paint to dry quicker and then I can try a different approach.

On advice and guidance from Uncle Ron T, I made a heat box to speed up the oil drying process.
I used a wooden 6 bottle French wine box with a light bulb.
