I've been putting it off, but I'm about to force myself to make a start on the pelt markings.
Don't be surprised if you hear cries of anguish emanating from deepest Devon.

I've been painting in a 'bit here' and 'bit there' fashion.
Consequently, there does not appear to be a lot to see on a day by day basis.
Additional shading, deeper red on the pelt lining, yellow badge and lacing on the Scots Fusilier hat and some general lining work.
These sequences show the apparent small progress on a day-by-day basis.



The eagle-eyed among you will immediately spot that while I've painted the bottom section of shoulder belt, I've missed the top section.
That's the result of having the kit in two sections, and only putting them together for photos.
I've now corrected it.

I also noticed that the white on the pelt was somewhat narrow on the main body, so have extended it.



And now the dreaded time has come ... starting on the pelt markings.

Coming along really nicely , the blue is really vibrant , nice work on the red lining as well

Good start on the pelt .......enjoy the markings with not too many shrieks of anguish !
