Hmm... i think the choice of Buff looks interesting my friend, with the red is going to look great!.Looking forward to see progress on this trooper.
Best regards

Roger, i am glad we agree on the buff facings, i know very little of british uniforms, but always caught my attention the red/buff combination.
I think the story of the regiment is important too,it makes you appreciate more the subject you are painting.
Regards

Am I the only one who likes yellow? :(

Why am I always an outsider?

No mate you're not alone - I could not imagine banana's in any other colour.

Hi Taff,
Nice kit, looking forward to you posting some pictures. Looks like you have had a tough time on the other figure but don't lose heart and keep up your determination. If your hair is falling out, don't waste it - use it as grass or horse mane.(y)
cheers
Richie

Just a quick update. The breeches are now done, however the site wont allow me to upload pictures on my phone so progress pics will have to wait til I go on leave next tuesday.

Down in Devonport mate, to be honest I know myself the the white is nowhere near as good as other peoples, but for the standard of painting I'm at I feel pretty pleased with it.
