Could of maybe used too much grey mixture.

Well if you did just cover it with a white wash leaving it in the creases as shadows and you should be ok

Well here is how it has turned out, anythoughts?

Doesn't look too bad mate front creases might need a little more blending or it might be the pics like somebody mentioned earlier I'd block the boots and tunic in to see how it looks before tweaking any more

To be honest mate, I'm a bit lost at what more to do. I just think I dont have the skills to make it any better.

Leave it then mate work on the boots and the tunic and see how it looks then, it's not at all bad

Taff!...... what painting references do you have?.. as in 'How to', paint this or that!.. there are a number out there!.. try Danilo Cartacci, or even the older Verlindens 'The System'.. These are very helpful. esp @ 120mm
