John,

You are doing a nice job! I have to applaud you for all the extra work you have put into the bust. You go to way more work than me. :( I really like what you have done to this point. I think the belt looks real! (y)

John,
Great work my friend! Can't wait to see more pics! I like how are you aligning the pattern.
All the best...write me at the house sometime John...
Take care!

Well I have done a bit more. This has been adding some fine lines on the tartan. On the blue stripes on the jacket a red one has been added. On the blue stripes on the other pattern a fine white stripe has been added. I used light Flesh acrylic for this one. i then applied a wash of paynes grey over all the tarten bits on the bust to try to do two things. tone it all done an tie it all in a bit.

John,

It is looking really nice so far. I look forward to seeing more of it. Maybe watching you will get me back to finishing my bust! ;)

Joe

Well folks very near the end of this project. I need to re vist the hair area to get in some highlights ans shadows. I have really enjoyed the challenges that this project has brought up. Thank you Joe for suggesting that I had a go at tartan, I would have never had a go otherwise.
