Eyes and teeth are based in white. Iris is a mix of light brown olive and white
Corners of eyes and mouth are lined with olive-darkened red...

The bust almost finished, just some extra lights in brown + apple green + sienna on hair-tips and some shadows in black.

Final lights on face and torso has a bit of yellow

Eyes received a slight yellow wash and veins were remarked with a mix of magenta+olive

Girder is painted in shadow-brown with drybrush in silver and some spouting with a mix of brown + oxide-red

The base has a dark brown coat, with drybrushes in brown, sienna, sand and white (some oxide spouts also).

Dear Guillermo,

Thanks for the SBS painting of the Hulk. It's very well painted.

regards :)

Thanks guys!!

It's an honor to get such critics from people that show excellent painting works here.

This figure was particularly difficult for me, as there are too wide areas to paint just in tones of green. On a second thought, I should have included some piece of ripped fabric on his back when modeling the figure, to "cut" the color uniformity. (Or perhaps use an airbrush! )

Anyway for those who accept the "challenge" there's a kit version available ;)

Bert, don't worry about sbs (yes it means step by step).
First time I saw those letters I thought in some government agency

Cheers

Excellent series, I really enjoyed seeing the steps. I thought it was a great example of painting since it is mostly one color over a large area which helped see the shading develop. I had two questions: what medium did you use; and how much time did it take to paint the figure? Joe Salkowitz ;)

Thanks Joseph / Guy:

I used acrylics for coloring the bust (a good quality local trademark, Vallejo is almost impossible to get here) :(
And it demanded me almost 3 whole days of work (a long weekend)

Regards
GUille
