Thanks for the very kind words and sorry for the delay. I have been really busy and trying to develop a better painting style as I go. Here are a few more pictures.
One is the adding of the arms the next one is the base color for the coat and then the next one has just some highlights added. I still have more to do but wanted to share some pictures with you.
Joe, you are doing a wonderfull painting on this figure.

Thanks and I agree with you. Here are a few more pictures. I still need to work on the pants and maybe a little more to the coat. I hope to have him wrapped up very soon, it has been long enough and I need to have this for John like a long time ago!!
You are on the right track. You say that there are some touch ups to do.
My touch up would go to: the holster with belt. (couldt be the picture)
the collar of the coat.
and get that black lines away around the shirt, hands etc. I don't like that.
In my opinion that should be darker shades of the skin color.
But what a beautifull figure. Joe, you are doing him right. Your painting skills are far beyond mine.
Keep going and posting .
Thanks, you are right, the coat coller and the holster could use some work. The lines around the shirt, neck and cuff are not that dark in person. They reason is they are hollowed out and that is a natural shadow from the pictures, but from the pictures it does not look good, thanks.
