Hey guys,

Thanks for the very kind words and sorry for the delay. I have been really busy and trying to develop a better painting style as I go. Here are a few more pictures.
One is the adding of the arms the next one is the base color for the coat and then the next one has just some highlights added. I still have more to do but wanted to share some pictures with you.

Joe

Here is a litte better picture. You can see on the left wrist that much brown paint found it's way to the white shirt!

Joe, That is looking really nice. I know you like painting white, but think you also have a knack for painting brown as well. Keep it up.~Gary

Hey guys,

Thanks for the kind words. I am slowly moving along and hopefully will have this guy finished in the next day or so.

Hey Gary,

Thanks and I think I may do another all white figure next for some relaxation!

Marc,

Believe me I have many mistakes just don't always have them on film!

Here are a few pictures of the coat. I think it is finished but will know later after I have had time to just sit back and look at it.

Hey Marc,

Thanks and I agree with you. :) Here are a few more pictures. I still need to work on the pants and maybe a little more to the coat. I hope to have him wrapped up very soon, it has been long enough and I need to have this for John like a long time ago!! :(

Thanks for looking,

Joe

Joe,

You are on the right track. You say that there are some touch ups to do.
My touch up would go to: the holster with belt. (couldt be the picture)
the collar of the coat.
and get that black lines away around the shirt, hands etc. I don't like that.
In my opinion that should be darker shades of the skin color.

But what a beautifull figure. Joe, you are doing him right. Your painting skills are far beyond mine.
Keep going and posting .(y)

Hey Marc,

Thanks, you are right, the coat coller and the holster could use some work. The lines around the shirt, neck and cuff are not that dark in person. They reason is they are hollowed out and that is a natural shadow from the pictures, but from the pictures it does not look good, thanks.

Joe

Well, here are a few pictures of the finished figure. I will finish up the base and post those hopefully later tonight. Thanks for looking.

Joe
