Nap has been nagging me to add some finished figs to the site so here we go.
Two pirates for your inspection.
Both done in oils over Acrylics.
Feathers are from an unhappy pheasant from the village who decided to end it all one rainy evening.
Cheers from Cumbria and keep painting.
Jonathan

Jona than
Very well painted couple of busts. The addition of the real feathers just adds a unique touch that makes both of them stand out.

Cheers on that John
One pheasant gives you more feathers than you will ever use.
If you don't mind being a pheasant plucker for a bit the benefits a huge.
Don't be squeamish about the ones around the neck as they are amazing with great colours nd very small.
Male pheasant if you can get one by the way. the ones that look the business are the down feathers under the
main feathers, very soft and intricate.
I will be posting some gladiators in the next while with the same effect.
So, have a go and don't tell the missus it's for the hobby but for the pot;)
Keep painting and having fun.
Cheers
Jonathan
