Completed Critique Panzer Meyer 1/35

Here is a wedgie that I finished today it is made by Darius Miniatures’ of Poland; I picked it up at Euro Militaire. It is of a Tiger Tank and the Kurt Panzer Meyer made by Alpine Miniatures’ in 1/35.
I have used acrylics and some airbrushing techniques but I am no pro and still have a lot to learn! I am still trying to perfect skin tones and technique but have enjoyed using the snow effects. Any feedback and tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks for looking. Sam B.

All in all a great job Sam, but I would say that Mr Meyer's whites are too bright/white. I'm planning a similar thing with Max Wunsche.

Cool little vignette; the tiger makes a very good background for PzM; the fleshtones seem to be very good to me. Considering that's very difficult to play with whites I think you did a good job on the fig; perhaps bit more contrast between shades and highlights would have been welcome. Anyway, the overal is very pleasant to the eye.

This is superb, Sam!

I think the whiteness of the trousers does need toning down, but not necessarily by repainting the whole lower half. Maybe more dramatic shadows and some dirting up with pigments will do it, which is probably the least time-consuming thing to do. Just a thought.

The Tiger is gorgeous.

Well i think you did a great job. Also i find the white's to bright, specially on the trouser.
I believe i'm bitten by the wedgie's. Time for me to gonna dig out some AFV's from the basement.

i have dirtyed up the persil white trousers n i think they look better than before , thanks florent for the link to calvin tans work ( anyone know whats happend to him , ive not seen any updates on his sight for ages ? )
