God almighty ... Jaume, man, that panzer officer just blew me out of my chair! It is SO well painted !!!!! You are a master (y) and I wish I could paint half as good as you do.

Look forward to seeing pics of that next project of yours ... I recognize that Ozarkian look .... isn't that Anders' Hillbilly ???

Amazing !!!!

I love it and I can't wait the next !!!
All is really suberb : the jacket, the camo, the head... incredible !

Hi Jaume,

Fantastic work.
In some of your previous sbs posts I have noticed that you tend to paint camo in small patches at the time, shading and highlighting as you go along. But this time you have painted the entire camo pattern first and than shaded and highlighted it.
Is there a special reason for the approach you have taken this time?

I look forward to your next project.

cheers
Luka

P.S.: What kind of camera are you using? I really like your photography too :)

Johan.Yes that's the Anders' rebel.
Luka. You're right.I prefer to work on small areas but this time I was doing a s-b-s for a modelling magazine and had paint it following a method.
I use a Nikon Coolpix 5400.IMHO one of the best digi cams out there.

Best regards

Jaume, the blacks and the camo are great, but what always jumps out at me with your figures is the faces. They seem alive.

Francesca

Beautiful work, Jaume. As always, one might add.
For those of us who can't access the magazine, would you like to share the Vallejo colors you used for the splinter camo pattern?

Cheers!

Un saludo

Wonderfull job Jaume! Full of life!
The groundwork looks very good also, really like the floor of a pine-tree forest.

How did you paint the metal of the gun? It is so nicely subdued...

Best wishes,

Marijn

Hi Marijn. The gun was painted in gloss black+chocolate Brown.I did some lights adding some more Ch.Brown.
cheers

Thanks a lot!
I already felt there were no metalic paints involved in such a smooth finish...
Beautifull!

Will you come to Torrent this year?

Marijn
