So . . I remember many happy hours spent Sitting in the Bay window seat of a Caravan on wet windy summer holidays in the '60s
Delighting in the artwork of the Airfix catalogue and the work of
Richard Cross

This man's artwork must have fostered the imagination of literally millions and a few generations of modellers
I include him as after 40 years I bought this model in january and I only do figures

A little correction, it should actually be Roy Cross. As a young lad my choice of kits was purely and simply based on the boxart and not what was in the box.

I would also like to nominate The Walker Art gallery, William Brown St. Liverpool.
Displaying Holbein's Henry VIII, Richard Caton-Woodville, Lady Butler, JL David and Ernest Crofts.
