Not a big fan of Rigo's artistic style which is juvenile and simplistic. But for content on the uniforms of First Empire personalities, you can't beat them. Like Rousselot, he was an official painter to the French army.

it's a shame I am such a computer illiterate because there are so many great illustrators that i could put up if I knew how. Here though are a few names to look out for Fortunino Matania, Arthur Rackham and John Tenniel.
