Well done Roger I had forgotten him, I've got a collection of most of the Tritt postcards and some of the Plates which were published as Calendars. He did a variety of Nations, France, Prussia, USA, England.
over 200 plates.

Hi
For the second plate by Wolfgang Tritt just posted , i.e. The figure in helmet and in white jacket , any idea what country does he belong to ? Is he of Bavarian ? Napoleonic period ? He seems to be very like the calvary unit depicted in the painting on Battle of Hanu painted by Horace Vernet. Any reference sources of uniform details of this unit ?
Many thanks

The caption I have is Baden - Garde du corps- Offizier, unfortunately no date but he does look Napoleonic. I'll have a search and see if I can find some more details.

Roger.
