For those of you who have followed and given your support during construction and painting of this figure over in the bench forum I sincerely thank you all!

Here he finally is and I must say what a learning experience it was, 90% fun 10% pure terroršŸ˜œ, I hope Iā€™ve done Johnā€™s sculpture justice just in case he ever sees it.

Thank you Nap for hosting such a wonderful place we can all share our love of figure painting.

Superb work, this has turned out really well. Love the weathering and the weary, dirty look you have captured on the tanker.

Steve, a REAL treat for us to watch. The result is magnificent and well worth the 10% 'terror' [from where I'm sitting :joyful:!] You should be really proud of the finished figure and surround. There is absolutely no doubt..... you have 'done the sculptor proud' too.
I am really looking forward to your next figure...........
Congrats.
Kim

Marc, Simon, Nigel and Kim thank you all for your comments and time taking a look! I have some more pictures I can post if anyone is interested . I first saw this sculpt back when John had it presented at the MFCA show , I had delivered a Pocher automobile kit I built for Chuck Robinson of the Red Lancers and was standing at Chucks table and he said there is Mr Rosengrant ! Built many Pocher kits for Chuck but never met Mr. Rosengrant.

Steve, I am interested in any new photos, as I've just discovered some little 'extras' such as the headphone leads and jackplug connector. I don't think I am going to be the only one re-visiting this [over a coffee] many times in the future [Malcolm has indicated the same too]. So, if you have the time..............appreciated...........and also jealous of the scenery in the 'garden' photo background!!
Yours through 'figure modelling',
Kim

Kim I try my best to be as accurate as possible when building and have fun while learning during research. The one outside picture was taken off my back porch, it was 29 degrees outside.

Here are a couple more pictures plus I have many more I can share .
