It was my first napoleonic subject, so I didn't know there's a regimental number in the sabretache. I should've researched more before painting. I will try to draw "4" below the eagle.

How did you do the lace (the lace that is NOT sculpted on)?


Yes, the lace is not sculpted on the figure. My hands are also little shaky:( so I couldn't draw crisp lace line at first attempt. but I usually use oil paint, so if I make a mistake I can erase it with turpentine.

Really very difficult to figure with horse skin leather belts with buttons rider wow, I described only tiring!
