The infantry and cavalry are plastic so the big battalions are cheap to muster with all specials in metal.great figures fron best designers on the planet.

I'm a huge fan of the Perry minis, although my interest is in the samurai range. They put out a well sculpted, nicely cast product at a great price. While I'm not especially interested in the ACW, I have thought of getting a set of the plastic figures just to see how they compare with the metal figures.
