why are there no photos of the scottish national competition in the model magazines when the major competitions in england are always in them?./badger

i love the idea of being independant but i think its just a romantic notion, i am proud of being scottish but i am also proud of being british. i think that it would be wrong to change horses midstream in the current recession. british forces are at present fighting and dying so that we are a free country and have freedom of choice and i feel to vote for independence would be turning our backs on the english troops as well as scots, welsh and irish who ARE AT PRESENT putting themselves at risk for us./badger

If independence happens Badger, which is looking likely, there's no reason for you to stop feeling British. It will take a generation for national identities to assimilate. For many (like me) Britain/the British Empire/and the amazing group of nations that formed the Commonwealth, ended in 1945, when all the Commonwealth nations, particularly Britain, were left ruined, bankrupt, and bled white of manpower. As modellers we recreate figures based on quite turbulent history, but don't forget we ARE history,

Cheers,
Jon.

From a question on why there are no photo's in a magazine to Scottish independance within 1 post. Some going that:sneaky::ROFLMAO:.

Brian, it must be the way the independence thing is being reported on down here in the south east. Every Scots person being interviewed is either in the 'yes' camp or undecided, no one being interviewed has said 'no'. Maybe that's the media, or maybe there really is a large 'yes' movement, we'll know in a few weeks.

A lovely video ! .. Thanks Del. What I really like about this clip. Is that it shows the, 'Good the Bad and the Ugly',.. of all model genres! and that not everyone has to be a 'Master', in order to submit there work! If they are proud of it.. then show it! (y):D

Regards,

Mark
