Thanks, Mark S, Your 'Phrase',.. of, 'best of & best effort',.. is much more softer! and more appropriate, than mine! :D;) ! ... Which in retrospect does seem quite harsh!. But the principle is exactly the same. :)

Regards,

Mark

yes, modelling is for self pleasure, if you are happy with your efforts at modelling, then thats all that matters. i have always thought it rude to criticise other peoples work but to give hints and tips is good./badger

I agree Badger although I believe it's fine to constructively criticise. What is pathetic is when on some rare occassions someone who hasn't shown anything or perhaps even painted for years criticises anothers work, fortunately the worst offender seems to have abandoned us....what a loss ;) .
Criticise, go ahead and do it but.......... A. add constuctive suggestions. B. don't hide behind a pseudonym. C. remember the hobby has moved on and there are a whole range of new techniques and mediums.
Cheers
Derek

thats right, the hobby is moving on at a fast rate, and i cant wait to see the standards reached in a few years time/badger
