This is the now pretty old 120mm figure from Pilipili.
She is very much out of my comfort zone, being a larger scale, female and Native American, so several challenges!
I’m happy so far with the flesh tones although it took a little bit of tweaking to get to something I was happy with.

Still a long way to go and the beading will eventually add splashes of colour

You're doing quite a good job, IMHO. Nice Native American skin tone. Nice color choices. Nice brush work. And kudos to you for stepping outside of your comfort zone. (Incidently, I rather like this figure. Some of Pilipili's old offerings were very interesting. A little off the beaten path.)

Thanks.

Some very esoteric subjects from PiliPili. This, I think, was always my favourite.

Hi Rob

Great to see you posting and a lovely figure to work on , Pilipili were a fine company , this is a really nice subject

Liking the colours so far , nice beadwork as well , the fleshwork looks good , like the shells ( you can get a Pearl acrylic from AK )

Good scale to work on

Following with interest

Have fun at the bench
