Hello Planeteers!

Our three children having grown up with dad's "little men", I decided years ago to paint them a special figure or bust for their 25th birthday. This month our youngest one has her 25th birthday, so this is what she'll get: my version of PiliPili's Cairo Belle bust.

Thanks for looking,

Pierre

Fantastic piece, Pierre - I like the skin tones you’ve used & the weathering on the face of the tambourine.

I can also remember the Pili Pili range from seeing them on display at the old Euro Militaire in the 1990s, their subjects were never my thing but the sculpting & artwork were truly spectacular.

Thanks for the comments guys!

To be complete, the first one, our son and a keen photographer got this one in 2015:

The second one, our eldest daughter and a very strong-willed lady got this one in 2017:

And now the youngest daughter, the artistic one with the strongest signs of our distant mediterranean roots got this one:

I tried to give them a non-military figure related to a character trait or hobby. Now I can return to my favorite subjects!
