In an effort to stop Naps prodding :D wanting to see whats on my bench.

Here we go. 1/9th Scale Bust. Pioneer Royal Irish Fusiliers 1902.
It will be painted in Acrylics & will take me an age.
I have put the base coats on. I started on the head but hate painting faces so quickly stopped work on the face and moved on to the body.

Well I buggered that up No Pics.

It was thought at one stage that it would look better with the apron cut level with the tunic. It would still have the Rolled Greatcoat . I'm not a fan of it.

What are your thoughts?

Hi Mick

What’s this ...ME!! ....prodding .....tis nothing but a mirage ...

Great to see you posting , sorted pics out ( they are a tad burry but we can get where you are ) .....a good start ....

There is a lot of red ( ideal for Bob Guildford ) on this fellow as well as the white , regarding the apron , personally I will leave it as it’s sculpted , but saying that levelling isn’t detrimental to the look

Following with interest , take as long as needed ...enjoy

It’s good to see you painting

Happy benchtime

Promise I'll do better with the pictures next time.
As for the Apron I prefer it as sculpted, some thought it looked better cut off. I will in time paint up the short apron one. One carrying the axe the other the pick.
