Hi Mick

Nice to have you back and with a nicely painted version

Looks good and it shows the variation that's available

Thanks for sharing , look forward to the next from you

Nap

Turned pics for you

Looks the dogs Mick.

I have thought of the grey for mine when I start it, although with what I have on the go could be a little down the road.

Having said that I am on the box again for another 4 weeks .

Hi Malc.
Thank you.
By the time you are back at the bench for this one with a bit of luck you will have some sort of idea how it will look before making your mind up.
I think the hardest part will be differentuating the two Grays of the tunic & Shawl, But will give it a bash.
Thanks
Mick

Greetings,
Just seen this, Piper C. Howard. 1st Leinster Regiment. ( Royal Canadians.) 1910.

Gives a little food for thought.

Hi Mick. Just catching up with your version. It looks very good. Mine is about 2/3 done. This guy really paints itself. Coming to the hard part and that is the pipe drones, banner, cords, and ribbons. Going to print your photos as a guide. I'm doing the grey version using French grey. Came out too blue though, but not too far off from some of the refs I found on the net.

Hi Mick. Saw some pics of your second take on this figure in the French grey. Love the way it turned out, the French grey looks really stunning and the pair look great together.
