Pirate
54mm white metal
8 white metal parts
Sculpted by Ho Seo

Ho Seo was gracious enough to send me two figures from his new company. The Pirate and Alexander The Great. The first review will be the Pirate.

I recieved the two kits well packed with bubble wrap and packing paper.

Again we see a company who puts an effort into their marketing with well packed and packaged figures. A white sleeve comes arounfd the box with their logo.

The box art is done on the top of the box and is used as a painting guide for the figure painter.

Upon opening the box you will find all the parts sandwiched between heavy foam as a cushing durring shipping to ensure the figures arrive intact and no damage.

Underneath the second piece of foam is the white metal base and stone wall that the Pirate is pictured leaning against.

The main part of course is the Pirate himself. Even without paint, the figure is a dead ringer for Johnny Depp. Clean crisp detail is sculpted with normal seem lines that can easily be filed away. The right arm comes attached and the left arm that goes to his hip is another part.

Another view and closer.

I must say that it looks like a cracking sculpt overall and very nicely cast too - right up there with the best white metal.

Guy, what's the orange stuff, something like Blu-Tack?

The orange stuff is the same as Blue Tack..........only Orange. Its made by another manufacturer.

It's great that we are now going to be able to purchase Ho Seo's figures. I've admired his work and SBS and can finally put some paint to his creations. Thanks for sharing Guy.
