Using Adblock neither do I - but even with it, the forum is moving as slow as tar...

Ron you been at the Creamola foam again.

Not running slow for me but do get problems with the CDN that planetfigures uses. Akamia Server connection usually timeouts on a page but I'm able to view the page. Maybe the servers are getting hammered that is delivering the content to you.

Best way to test is use another browser or clearing your cache see if it helps.

Tried all the usual tricks.......still running slow as a snail on crutches.................

Do wonder if the servers are struggling to cope with so many guests at the same time as members......other day we had 100 members + 500 guests on line at once.....add in all these adverts and..............

Also...there used to be a file size limit on pictures....now we get uploaded pics the size of the whole page!

Hmm cant seem to be able to edit my own post above but can in other threads. odd.

Still getting timeouts from the stuff above and anonymous data collectors (ScorecardResearch.com) but think that's browser related. Like before can still browse the page though. ( dont seem to get the timeouts on firefox)

Tested the exact same page works fine on Firefox. loads images within seconds loads faster than my main browser. (Opera 12)

Can go from here to main page and click "man in a gorget and cap" (thats not already in the cache) in a couple of seconds with images. Anybody else see how long it takes them.

Or is it only at certain times when kagemusha says at high load?
