Greetings everyone,

I'm in the process of moving planetFigure to a new server, going from a 32bit dual core , 2GB RAM and 80Gb hard drive to a Quad core Xeon 64 bit with 16GB RAM and two 250GB hard drives with a gigabit network link :wideyed:

So things will be slow during the transition and will flap on and off, such is life :joyful:

Stay tuned!

I know very little about computers but I am guessing that your new set up is faster than my PC which is still running on 1GB Ram(well only just running) :nailbiting:

I saw numbers and figures but I'll need a grown up to explain it to me

You may be better off getting a 14 year old to help you with it Steve.......that's what I usually do.

Great to hear you're keeping the site up todate as far as gigglybits and dual hard core ram drives & stuff Gordy,...well done and thanks for the extra efforts.
