PMC bust, 1/9

Here are the first pics of parts of my new bust, some more pictures will be coming later during the day if everything goes according to plan.

The M4 is made with detailed up parts from the SF bust, the rest is plastic card and stock. The barrel is turned from plastic rod, I think I will have to buy a lathe for future projects and turn barrels out of aluminum instead for easier measuring and added strenght.

The front rail will come separated from the reciever, and as you can see, the barrel slides inside the rail like the real thing. This way it will be easier to make other weapons with different set ups. And I must say, it was quite a bit of work hollowing out the front rail!

It looks a bit crooked in the picture, but thats because it is assembled with blue-tack.

Well here are the pictures of the almost finished bust, still some work left on the neckareas and some cleanup. It looks quite rough at the moment, but thats mainly because of the mix of different sculpting mediums and a partially sanded coat of Mr. surfacer 500.

I have made one head with a helmet covering the baseball-cap, the other one with some different insignias on the cap as per the referenses.
