That face is so haunting as well as looking exhausted

Looking great so far, the face looks like a very tired veteran haunted by what he has seen, I look forward to seeing its progression.

Hi guys,

I started painting this figure in December 2014 and its been sitting on my workbench in a state of 80% completion for most of last year and this year.

I'm not sure why I didn't get around to finishing it because its a beautifully sculpted and cast bust and the face is so appealing.

Anyway, 15 months after I started I present to you the completed bust of a French Poliu from Verdun 1916. Sculpted by Phillipe Parison and painted in Josonja acrylics and oils and pigments.
