Janne: dirt on the coat is made by thinnered oil paint (brown van dyke) mixed with grinded pepper, than I besprinkled it soda (I used to soda for snow imitation)

Fantastic Presentation. There are very few combinations that you could use a blue base with...........but you have the perfect match with the blue base representing water and the Hussar standing on ice...........Perfect

You are absolutely right. This is it. Make the base a part of the whole scene. You now he used this base didn't you ????
