I think 'No' unless the person posting wants the assistance of others to deal with the problem such as complaining on-mass to the website.

When we come across pirates it is important to draw them to the attention of the legitimate manufacturer and this should be done directly.

Complaining alone can be easily ignored, and so model figure makers and sellers need to club together to deal with pirates on the basis that an attack on one is an attack on all. Maybe they should also consider including a warning message on their product boxes along the lines that the rightful legal ownership of the product will be protected against copying and all piracy will be reported, publicised and compensation sought. It might put off some people who make, sell or buy pirated products.

Having read all the comments, I aired on the side of NO!
But I also realise that we need to make the Modelling community aware of the pirate. That is the grey area.

I think all manufacturers need to find creative ways to make it as awkward as possible for these robbers to operate.

Maybe a small disclaimer on the simlar to what Mark referred to.
Maybe a flag of the country origin on the boxart, or a made in the UK for example.
A watermark over the artwork.
All may act as a smallsmall deterrent.
I appreciate it won't stop all, but it will deter some.

Your not dealing with a legitimate competitor. You can't compete with them on an economic footing.
All you can really do is as Stu did, contact ebay with your complaint. Or maybe Paypal, explaining they are condoning illegal practices, albeit unknowingly.
Make it as awkward as possible.

But none of this answers the YES, NO debate.

I was one of the people who posted a link on here and although no flak was throw at me directly, I also felt it was undeserved in other directions for trying to do good. I did say I have seen these released on here but did not know by who, so if I don't know the originator, how the hell do I tell them? I would be interested to hear comments on that particular problem.
For certain, this big chimp is sitting on the sidelines. monkey stting on the side lines.jpg Try and do good or do nowt?
