You are very welcome Carl. One final note on the ammo pouches, Patrick was right about the two compartment arrangement, they were issued to Police units, and rear area troops, where larger amounts of ammunition was not needed. Also they were issued to German troops after the war, to help the occupation allies in police duties. I am looking forward to this bust being released, I definitely want one of these. Glad I was able to help in some small way. Regards, SG:)(y)

Hi Carl ,

A cracking piece of work from the start , great to see all the references about the pouches and SG's pictures ..amazing stuff .

Using these references to make the minor changes will result in a top quakity referenced piece .

Like us all I have learnt something about German items and been well impressed at the work ....on average how long does it take to sculpt something like this Carl?..when things go well !!!

Looking forward to the release and seeing both the Box Art and seeing this at Euro (come on DEL !!!)

Great job, Mr R. Not my period or country of choice, atleast you have given my visa card respite. Look forward to your next WW1 offering.

Dear Carl

Please have your clones slow down production. You're churning out too many figures for me to track. I've only finished priming some of your figures and you keep churning more out. Are you trying to drive me nuts????

Cheers
Basil

Cheers Kev!

It's hard to say, because I normally work on 2 or 3 pieces at the same time, so when one is on the dryer I reach for the next and so on!
But it usually takes anything from 3-4 days to about a week if I get my arse into gear, maybe a just a bit longer if there is loads of kit or detail etc!

Grüß Di' Carl,

Looking forward to getting this figure! Glad that I could help a little with some reference material. If you're ever interested in doing some more Gebirgsjägers, just let me know and I can provide you with all the references you need.

Bergheil und Horrido!

Hello Patrick, This is an excellent picture/painting, and would be nice to see this done in a bust, or a full figure. Your collection, and expert knowledge of ski/mountain troops, are second to none. Regards, SG
