This is looking very nice, a very striking figure. Looking forward to seeing this with a base.

Hi Malc

Nice work on the backpack and the blanket roll, figures really coming along well now with a striking uniform ...quite impressive for the ladies at the time no doubt

Looking forward to seeing more on this and getting the 1/12th bust started

Have fun @ the bench

Not much to report on, as I've been under the weather the past few days after having a vaccination, that wasn't supposed to have any side effects. :(

After watching a few documentary's on some of the early battles, mainly to get some idea for the groundwork,
I started to produce something along those lines.
Magic-Sculpt was used for the soil and detailed with an old toothbrush, and some mini-nature tufts to replicate what I'd seen in the documentary's.
The figure is now in position, so now all I have to do is paint the Enfield.

ooops forgot to post the pics.

Looking really nice mate, really like how you've done the grey of the uniform, especially the seams great detail.

Cheers Simon

Hi Malc that’s turning into a fantastic piece mate. He looks battle worn and the ground work really suits him. Just a final push and he’s done great job all round.

Thanks Nap.

I'm going to finish off a fun piece I started last year, while I decide what to paint next.

Looking good Malc and sorry to hear you've been under the weather.
The lacing is a pain to do but looks good in the end.
I have had a 1/1 scale bathroom to paint, now that's a pain in the a**e.

Cheers Bob, yes the lacing was a challenge as I had to make it thinner than marked out, but came out ok.... i hope.

I have a 1/1 scale bedroom to paint, I hate all the prep work, especially sanding the skirting boards.
